Weapon Evolution Guide

Every Silat weapon can evolve 3 times. Choose your evolution path carefully because the strongest runs are built around one clear upgrade commitment.

Evolution in Adira Nusantara is less about collecting every cool bonus and more about concentrating power. Each shrine investment should make the next biome safer or the next guardian faster. If an upgrade does not clearly improve your current game plan, the real answer is usually to save Essence until the build is ready for a larger spike.

How Evolution Works

After defeating a Guardian boss, an evolution shrine appears. Spend Nusantara Essence to evolve your equipped weapon. Each evolution level costs progressively more Essence and permanently enhances the weapon with new abilities. You can only evolve ONE weapon per run — the shrine deactivates after use. Plan your evolution path from the start of the run.

Evolution Strategy Tips

  • Never evolve at Lv.1 shrine if you have less than 100 Essence — the 40% waste penalty is brutal
  • Farm the first 3 biomes thoroughly before evolving — rushing leaves you under-equipped
  • Lv.3 evolution requires a specific biome crystal matching your weapon type
  • Final evolution after the last boss is for New Game+ — do not save Essence for it on your first run
  • Evolution is weapon-locked — choose your main weapon before the first boss fight and commit

When To Break Your Plan

The only good reason to abandon a planned evolution path is that the run has delivered a weapon that solves a real problem your current build cannot handle: armor, range, or a boss phase you consistently fail. Do not switch just because the new animation looks better or the tooltip sounds stronger.

If you do pivot, do it immediately and fully. Half-swapping leaves you with split materials, half-powered upgrades, and weaker shrine value for the rest of the map.
