Multiplayer Co-op Guide

Complete Adira Nusantara multiplayer co-op guide — party composition, role distribution, multiplayer-exclusive raids, scaling mechanics, and the best ways to play with 2-4 friends in the 1.0 release. Includes cross-play setup and disconnect recovery strategies.

Party Roles Explained

Adira Nusantara does not use a hard trinity system, but effective parties still benefit from role distribution. The four roles below are loose archetypes — most classes can fill multiple roles with the right build. The key is ensuring your party has at least one tank, one source of healing, and enough damage to clear before enrage timers.

Best Team Compositions

These five compositions cover the most common co-op scenarios. The Classic Trinity is the safest pick for new players learning co-op mechanics. The Aggressive 4-stack is for coordinated groups chasing time-attack records. The Support Carry is ideal for two-player friend duos.

CompositionMembersStrengthWeakness
The Classic Trinity (3 players)Rama (tank) + Sari (DPS) + Nyi Roro (support)Reliable, covers all bases, easiest to coordinateLow burst damage, slow on time-attack raids
Aggressive 4-stack (4 players)Guntur + Sari + Bayu + Citra (no tank)Highest DPS race potential, melts bosses in secondsOne-shot mechanics = full wipe, requires perfect coordination
Balanced Squad (4 players)Rama (tank) + Guntur (off-tank/DPS) + Sari (DPS) + Nyi Roro (support)Standard MMO comp, handles all content smoothlyLacks burst, struggles with timer-based challenges
Speed Run Team (3 players)Sari + Bayu + Dewi (all DPS, glass cannon)Fastest clear times for farming runsHardest to execute, any mistake = restart
Support Carry (2 players)Nyi Roro (support) + Guntur (tank)Two-player friend duo, easy to coordinateLower clear speed, no backup healer

Multiplayer Scaling Mechanics

Adira Nusantara uses dynamic scaling to balance co-op content. Boss HP scales aggressively with player count, but XP and gold rewards scale less dramatically. The result is that four-player parties are most efficient for farming (more total rewards per session), but two-player is the sweet spot for XP/hour when you want to level a single character.

Co-op Exclusive Raids

Four raids in Adira Nusantara are multiplayer-only and cannot be accessed in solo play. These are tuned for coordinated parties and offer the best rewards in the game, including mythic weapons, legendary talismans, and unique titles. The Cursed Triad is the most beginner-friendly of the four. Nusantara Depths is the hardest content in 1.0.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I play multiplayer cross-platform with friends on PlayStation?

Yes. Adira Nusantara 1.0 supports full cross-play between PC (Steam), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Cross-progression is also enabled — your save file syncs across all platforms if you link your account to a GameGuideHub ID.

What happens if a player disconnects during a boss fight?

The boss fight pauses for 60 seconds. If the player does not reconnect, they are removed from the party and the boss fight continues with the remaining players. Boss HP does not adjust downward, so disconnecting late in a fight usually means a wipe.

Is there a level difference penalty in co-op?

Yes. The game uses a soft level sync system. If a level 50 player joins a level 20 player, the level 50 player is temporarily scaled down to level 25 (mid-point). Stats and abilities remain the same, but damage and HP are normalized. This prevents high-level players from trivializing content for their friends.

Can I respec my build in co-op without leaving the party?

No. Respecs require visiting the Pendekar Hall, which is a solo-only safe zone. You must leave the party, respec at the Hall, and rejoin. Plan your build before joining multiplayer sessions.
